About Tiger
Tiger is a female Domestic Short Hair available for adoption in Hoppers Crossing (Melbourne, Victoria).
Tiger is a calm, easygoing cat with a lovely way of making you feel chosen. She likes her own space, and when she's ready for company, a meow and a nudge of the head let you know.
She's happiest settled on her favourite pillow while the day drifts by.
Tiger's litter brother, Chich, brings the other half of the picture. He's the cat at your elbow, full of head bumps and curiosity, while Tiger brings a settled, steady calm.
Tiger and Chich would love to find a home together, and each can also be adopted on their own. Meet Chich here.
Together, they suit a household with a gentle rhythm and someone home through the day. There's a couch for Tiger, a desk-side nap spot for Chich, and plenty of quiet company for both.
A little about Tiger:
🐾 Adores her Snoopy pillow, her favourite spot on the couch
🐾 Loves a long, unhurried snooze
🐾 Lights up at a good scratch, offered when she asks for it
🐾 Treasures her cuddles and saves them for her special people
🐾 Big fan of having a quiet corner to call her own
Tiger's days have a gentle shape. Breakfast comes first, then she finds her spot on the couch and settles in to sleep the day away until dinner.
She's independent enough to enjoy her own company and affectionate enough to come looking for yours.
Her affection is deliberate and sweet. A meow to say hello. A head nudge against your hand. A pause beside you for a scratch before she heads back to her pillow.
With new people, Tiger likes to watch from a comfortable distance first. A little quiet encouragement goes a long way, and when she's ready, she'll wander over and introduce herself with a meow.
A calm household is where her easy, settled nature fits best, whether she shares it with Chich or settles in on her own.
She's shared a home with other cats and a little dog, so a calm, cat-friendly dog is no obstacle.
She'll suit a guardian who enjoys a cat with quiet confidence and finds it a privilege to be one of her chosen people.
Give Tiger space to set the pace and you'll find she comes to you, on her own terms.
Picture a lazy weekend afternoon. Tiger is stretched out on her pillow, one paw tucked under, opening an eye as you sit down beside her. Then comes the soft meow and head nudge that means it's time for a scratch.
Tiger is calm, gentle and quietly devoted to the people she chooses. She's ready to bring that easy company into a calm home, ideally with Chich by her side.
FAQ
Is Tiger affectionate?
In her own sweet way. She'll ask for scratches with a meow and a nudge, and her closest people get cuddles too.
Can Tiger and Chich be adopted separately?
Yes. They'd love to stay together, and each can also be adopted on their own. You can meet Chich on his profile, linked above.
Can Tiger live with other pets?
Tiger has shared a home with other cats and a little dog, so calm resident pets are no obstacle. If she goes home with Chich, they'll be happiest as the only cats.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
