About Mac
Mac is a confident little character with a heart full of affection. He tends to approach new spaces with plenty of bravado, ready to explore and make himself at home, although underneath that confidence is a wonderfully sweet and gentle boy.
He’s incredibly affectionate and purrs at the drop of a hat. A simple click will have Mac trotting over to see you, ready for some attention and affection.
Mac loves his food almost as much as he loves to play. Chasing string, pouncing on dangly toys and having a good wrestle are all high on his list of favourite activities. Even when he’s excited, he’s beautifully gentle and doesn’t use his claws during play.
With his friendly nature, playful personality and endless supply of purrs, Mac is an easy little guy to fall in love with.
Mac is available for adoption into a home with other friendly resident cats. His brother, Cheese, is also available for adoption, and while they can be adopted separately, we would absolutely love to see these two boys find their forever home together. Applications for Mac and Cheese as a pair will be prioritised.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
