About Cheese
Cheese is an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy. He can appear a little shy when he first finds himself somewhere new, but that hesitation doesn’t last long at all. Once he realises he’s safe, Cheese quickly comes out of his shell and his signature silly, high-pitched purr starts up, and it doesn’t take much to get it going!
Cheese loves affection and will happily come trotting over when called with a little click. He’s also a big foodie and an enthusiastic player who loves chasing string, batting at dangly toys and having a good wrestle. Despite his playful enthusiasm, he’s incredibly gentle and keeps his claws to himself.
Cheese has a beautifully soft, friendly nature and is the kind of boy who will quickly settle into your life and make himself very easy to adore.
Cheese is available for adoption into a home with other friendly resident cats. His brother, Mac, is also available for adoption, and while they can be adopted separately, we would absolutely love to see these two boys find their forever home together. Applications for Cheese and Mac as a pair will be prioritised.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
