About Boo
Boo is a male cat available for adoption in Melbourne (Melbourne, Victoria).
Boo is a sweet, devoted cat who loves pats and play in equal measure.
He's the smaller of the two, but Boo is the boss.
Boo shares his home with Freckle, and the two are good to each other.
Boo and Freckle are looking for a home together. Meet Freckle here.
A little about Boo:
🐾 Happiest with pats and play, rather than being picked up
🐾 Answers you when you talk to him
🐾 Snoozes high up in his ivory tower cat stand
🐾 Zoomies are one of his favourite things
🐾 His guardian says he has never once tried to scratch or bite
Boo's day has an easy rhythm. Eat, cuddle, sleep, play, then a bit more cuddling.
When you come home, he'll come to the door to greet you. He's genuinely glad of your company, and he lets you know.
He shows affection by sitting next to you, or on you, for pats. Or he'll bring you into a game with a toy.
Boo will take either one: a long stroke on the couch or a few minutes with a favourite toy.
He's devoted to his people, and it shows in the way he settles in beside you.
His chatty answers when you talk to him are one of the most endearing things about him.
Boo is a calm, loyal cat with a playful side, and he's low-maintenance in the best way.
With new people, Boo has a lovely, considered way of coming around. He's the more reserved of the two, but he doesn't hide.
He takes his time, then warms up and engages, and a calm, patient approach goes a long way.
Boo would suit an indoor home, and apartment living would suit him well.
A guardian who is home more often than not will get the most out of his company. He'd enjoy a household with time for play, including children aged six to twelve.
A tall cat stand and a few favourite toys will give him everything he enjoys.
Picture coming home to find Boo at the door, ready to say hello. Later, he's beside you on the couch, happily taking pats.
Or a game with a toy that ends in a burst of zoomies.
Boo is a devoted companion who's ready for a guardian that appreciates a cat with a big personality in a small package.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
