Meet beautiful Twix, affectionately known as Bindi! 💕

Bindi was rescued from a rural NSW pound and has spent the past few weeks soaking up plenty of love in her foster home. Now that she has settled in, she is ready to find a forever family of her very own.

Bindi is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves being close to her humans. When her family is home, she is perfectly content sunbaking near the house rather than racing around the yard. At the end of the day, she would love nothing more than to curl up beside you on the couch for cuddles. 🥰

She can become excited when greeting people and may jump up initially, but she settles quickly before sitting or rolling over to request pats—something she takes very seriously! 😂

Bindi walks well on the lead, although she can pull at times and would benefit from continued guidance. She travels well in the car and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys walks, outings and adventures. 🚗🐾

She is friendly with other dogs but may become a little snappy if another dog repeatedly gets in her face or does not respect her space. A calm, respectful dog and slow introductions would be the best match for her.

Bindi has also been good around cats; however, as with any new introduction, interactions should be closely supervised while everyone becomes comfortable with one another. 🐱

She currently appears nervous around men and may initially bark or growl. With patience, gentle encouragement and kindness, she begins to accept pats and gradually warms up. Her new family will need to understand that trust may take time and allow her to build confidence at her own pace.

Bindi is crate trained and happily settles herself at bedtime. She currently sleeps peacefully in her crate in her foster mum’s bedroom.

She has been vet checked, C5 vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and wormed. ✅

Bindi’s ideal home will offer plenty of affection, patience and reassurance while helping her continue to build her confidence. In return, she will bring love, companionship, cuddles and plenty of loyal Kelpie–Cattle Dog charm into her family’s life.
