About Monty
Monty came into care at just three weeks old, orphaned without his mum alongside his two sisters Marjolein and Millie. Since then, he's grown into a confident, cheeky little monkey with a big personality.
He loves to play, chase toys and generally cause a little bit of harmless chaos. His absolute favourite activity is a rough-and-tumble playtime with his sister Marjolein. The two can often be found wrestling, chasing each other and getting up to mischief together.
For all his cheekiness, Monty has a beautiful affectionate side. Once he's worn himself out, he loves nothing more than curling up beside you or into a tiny ball on your chest for a well-earned nap.
Monty is also a boy with opinions, and he isn't afraid to share them. Take a little too long preparing his next meal and you can expect to hear all about it! He's a funny, expressive and endlessly entertaining little dude who will keep his future family laughing.
Monty would absolutely love to find a home with his sister Marjolein. They make a wonderful pair and are perfectly matched for each other's energy (see Marjolein's profile here: hhttps://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1212442). Alternatively, Monty will need a home with a very tolerant, playful resident cat who is ready to keep up with his kitten antics and teach him a thing or two.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
