Beautiful Cole is officially ready to find his forever family and share his enormous heart! ❤️

Cole is a gentle soul with a cheeky puppy sparkle. Once he gets over his initial nerves about meeting you, you won’t simply become his friend — you’ll become his everything. Loyalty is his middle name, fun is his game, and personal space is apparently optional! 😂🐾

At just 8 months old, Cole is curious, playful, incredibly intelligent and very food motivated. He has mastered sit and stay and is working on leave it, lie down, get back and, next on the list, recall.

With his clever Cattle Dog brain and eagerness to please, Cole has enormous potential with a family committed to continuing his training. He’s still a puppy with plenty of physical and mental energy, so daily exercise, enrichment and opportunities to use that busy brain will be important.

And yes, life with Cole occasionally sounds like:

“Cole, NO!”
“Cole… what’s in your mouth?!” 😂

But underneath the puppy mischief is an absolutely beautiful dog already growing into a loyal, confident companion.

🐶 LIFE WITH OTHER ANIMALS

Cole absolutely LOVES other dogs — from the smallest little dogs right through to the big boys!

He generally has lovely play manners, although when he gets overexcited he can introduce some enthusiastic Cattle Dog-style herding and nipping. His carers have been working on this and he has already improved enormously.

Cole could happily live with a confident, well-socialised dog, but another dog isn’t essential. He could also thrive as an only dog with humans who are around regularly and can give him plenty of companionship and enrichment.

He has been gaining confidence out on walks and at local cafés and is excited and friendly when meeting other dogs.

🏡 LIFE AT HOME

Cole is toilet trained with doggy-door access and is crate trained. He happily sleeps in his crate with the door open or closed and is also learning to settle independently.

He can entertain himself with a toy, but he’s equally talented at becoming your little shadow — following you around, supervising everything and occasionally positioning himself directly underneath your feet. 😂

Cole has also discovered his voice! He will alert bark when someone arrives and can respond to neighbouring dogs barking, so his new family will need to continue reinforcing calm boundaries.
