🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR MAVIS 🚨

Our beautiful Mumbai, now known as Mavis, urgently needs a calm and patient home where she can decompress, relax and begin settling into life in foster care.

Mavis is a 1–2-year-old female Great Dane mix who has been displaying some growly behaviour around other dogs. Although she has also shown some positive interactions, we feel she needs to be placed in a single-dog household for now so she can settle without pressure.

Once Mavis has had enough time to decompress and we understand her better, her suitability with other dogs can be reassessed. This behaviour does not make her a bad dog—she has experienced enormous change in a very short time and is likely feeling overwhelmed and unsure.

Mavis has previously been around cats and showed no interest in them, so she may be suitable for a home with cats following careful introductions and appropriate supervision. We have also been advised that she is okay with children.

Mavis absolutely loves men and is a very affectionate girl. ❤️

She doesn’t enjoy getting into the car and will need to be lifted in, but once she is inside, she travels well. She also walks beautifully on the lead.
