🚨 URGENT NEW FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED — SHADOW 🚨

Shadow is a 2-year-old male Shar Pei x Jack Russell mix who is currently in foster care but urgently needs a new placement.

Shadow needs someone who is home more often than not and has the time to give him the one-on-one attention, training and reassurance he needs to thrive. He loves being close to his people and can bark when left alone, particularly while he is still settling and learning that it is safe for his humans to leave and return.

Shadow has been living with cats and is slowly learning to ignore them, but he still requires further training and carefully supervised interactions before he could safely be left alone with them.

Although he is two years old, Shadow still has plenty of puppy-like habits. He can be jumpy and boisterous, so he needs a patient and committed carer who can provide consistent guidance, structure and positive training. For this reason, he is not suited to young children, although older, dog-savvy children may be considered.

Shadow isn’t a bad dog—he simply needs a home that better suits his needs. With someone who has more time to dedicate to him, we believe he can continue building his confidence and become the wonderful companion we know he can be. 🥹❤️
