About Minmin
Minmin is a desexed female Domestic Short Hair available for adoption in Ipswich (Greater Brisbane, QLD).
Minmin is a clever, deeply affectionate cat who saves her warmest side for the people she trusts completely. She takes her own time getting there, and once she does, it's the real thing.
She has a way of making that trust feel like a genuine achievement, the kind of bond you know you've earned.
She's bonded to Maimai, who shares her home and is also up for adoption. See Maimai's profile to find out more about keeping the two of them connected.
A little about Minmin:
🐾 Calls out with a soft, distinctive sound that's often mistaken for "mama"
🐾 Highly intelligent, with an independent streak she balances with real warmth
🐾 Adores rolling around in the grass on a warm day
🐾 Builds a close, gentle bond with calm, familiar people
🐾 Happy to entertain herself when you're busy, then lets you know when she's ready for attention
Minmin's days move at her own pace. She's happy to potter independently through the quieter hours, then seeks out play and company when the mood strikes her. A little fresh pork now and then goes down especially well as an occasional treat.
When she wants your attention, she has a way of letting you know, a soft, chatty little call that sounds remarkably like she's saying "mama".
With familiar faces, Minmin is quietly devoted, choosing to be close rather than needing to be. New people take a little longer to win over, and gentle, calm company is what brings her forward fastest.
Minmin would do best with a calm, gentle household that lets her set the pace with new faces.
A settled routine and a soft-spoken approach are all it takes to bring out her most affectionate side.
Minmin's vet has recommended a bit of extra support with her weight and dental health, an easy adjustment with the right food and a little more chewing built into her day. Her full patient history is on file and ready to share with her new guardian's vet.
Picture Minmin tucked into her favourite corner of the couch by day, entirely in her own world. Come evening, she settles in close, a soft call letting you know she's ready for company before drifting off for the night.
Minmin is a clever, gentle cat waiting for someone who appreciates her pace. Patient company, a warm spot to call her own, and a quiet "mama" call at the end of the day, she's ready to give all of it to the right person.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
