About Pipette
Pipette is a desexed female domestic cat available for adoption in Chipping Norton, NSW.
Pipette is a lovebug with a deep, insistent purr and a luxurious silky coat that earns her the nickname "house panther." She shows her affection loudly: think insistent purring and a determined sniff around until she finds the perfect spot on your lap.
She's extremely food and treat driven, and once she's comfortable, she's happy to roll over and expose her belly for a gentle pat. Guardians describe her as adventurous and cheeky too, with plenty of playful energy to match her softer, cuddly side.
Pipette is bonded to her sister Chinnie, and their guardians would love to see the two adopted together. You can view Chinnie's listing here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1208602.
A little about Pipette:
🐾 She'll observe new people from a safe distance first, then come around with a bit of gentle encouragement and a wet treat
🐾 Once relaxed, she's happy to roll over and expose her belly for gentle pats
🐾 She lives harmoniously with her sister Chinnie and four other adult cats, with the whole household getting free run of the house
🐾 She has a habit of insistent purring and sniffing around until she finds the perfect spot on your lap
🐾 She and Chinnie do everything together, a sign of just how close their bond is
Pipette and Chinnie's days revolve around napping in sunny spots, chasing each other around the house, and lounging anywhere soft and close to their people. Between meals, Pipette is just as happy investigating a sunbeam as she is finding the nearest available lap.
With familiar people, Pipette is affectionate and communicative, showing her comfort through purring and investigative sniffing before settling in for a cuddle. New faces simply need a little patience. She'll watch from a distance before approaching, and a wet churu treat speeds things along nicely.
Pipette would flourish in a calm household with an experienced, home-often guardian, ideally one with other cats already in the mix. Indoor, apartment-style living suits her relaxed, home-loving nature well.
Adopting Pipette alongside Chinnie gives her the steadiest possible start. The sisters' bond means confidence and comfort from day one, rather than a fresh adjustment on her own.
Picture Pipette rolling over for a belly rub in a sunbeam, purring loudly enough to hear from across the room, with Chinnie curled up right beside her.
Pipette and Chinnie are ready for a home that welcomes them as a pair: two affectionate, treat-driven sisters who bring out the best in each other.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
