About Nahla
Meet Nahla ❤️
Nahla is a beautiful 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd x German Shepherd with an incredible combination of intelligence, loyalty and affection. She has a gentle nature, absolutely adores children and forms deep bonds with the people she loves. Having spent her early life on acreage, Nahla is happiest when she has plenty of space to run, explore and be part of an active family who enjoys the outdoors.
She loves a game of fetch, enjoys learning new things and has completed professional training with both North Coast K9 Academy and K9 360 Training. Nahla knows commands including sit, place and free, and she responds beautifully to calm, positive reinforcement. She has previously lived happily with both another dog and a cat and is a loving, devoted companion once she feels safe and secure.
Like many intelligent working breeds, Nahla has found the transition from acreage to suburban life a little overwhelming. She can be reactive towards unfamiliar dogs while on lead in busy public areas, but this is something she has been working on with professional trainers and she continues to make excellent progress.
Nahla's ideal home would be on acreage or a semi-rural property with an active family who understands working breeds and can provide the exercise, mental stimulation and companionship she thrives on. She isn't just looking for another home—she's looking for the family she'll spend the rest of her life with. In return, you'll be rewarded with an incredibly loyal, affectionate and devoted best friend who simply wants to belong. ❤️🐾
