About Ollie & Oscar
Bonded Pair: Must be adopted together.
Meet Ollie and Oscar, a delightful pair of Mini Schnauzers who are inseparable half-brothers and heart warming companions. This dynamic duo is in search of a loving home where their gentle spirits can continue to flourish together. With their affectionate and loyal nature, they promise to bring a sense of serenity and happiness to every moment of your day.
Ollie, the elder at 9 years, is a gentle old soul with a soft disposition. Despite having well-managed diabetes and having lost one eye (his cuteness hides the imperfection), Ollie's enthusiasm never wanes. You'll find him joyfully greeting you upon your return, eagerly ready for a scratch behind the ears. He exudes an easy-going charm that will have you smiling as he nestles contentedly at your feet.
Oscar, at 7 years, complements Ollie perfectly with his curious and cuddly demeanour. This younger sibling is full of life and vigour, always keeping an eye on the happenings around him. Despite his well-managed epilepsy, Oscar relishes TV time and cozy evenings, and you might find him trying his luck at sneaking into your bed!
Finding the ideal home for Ollie and Oscar means much more than just having a roof over their heads. They thrive in a calm and stable environment, preferably with a single person or couple, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere to continue their previous routine. As beautifully settled boys, they are content when left alone, making them perfect companions for someone who can dedicate their days to their little shadows.
Importantly, their care is predictable and requires commitment, with ongoing medications and regular vet check-ups. Their current Gold Coast vet has transparently outlined their conditions, recommended monitoring, and approximate ongoing costs, which will be shared with potential adopters.
Prepare to welcome two devoted companions into your life with Ollie and Oscar. In return for your care, they'll fill your home with love, comfort, and gentle joy, blessing you with two wagging tails and endless affection. If you are located around Gold Coast, Brisbane, or Northern NSW, and you envision a fulfilling life with these charming boys, Ollie and Oscar will be waiting to become an integral part of your family by late August.
Medical notes
Ollie (9yrs) has well‑managed diabetes and has lost one eye, but he navigates life confidently and without fuss.
Oscar (7yrs) has well‑managed epilepsy and is otherwise full of life.
🩺 Their Health Needs
Both boys require ongoing medications and regular vet checks to keep their conditions stable.
This means there is additional cost involved beyond the usual grooming, food, vaccinations and preventatives.
It’s not for everyone — but it is manageable, and the reward is twofold. These boys give back far more than they ask for.
