About Tom
Meet Tom, a big but gentle boy with a heart full of love and paws that crave endless pats. This big softie would be thrilled to make his home on your lap, relishing every moment of affection and never letting go. Tom is known for his endearing persistence; when you think you're done with petting him, he will gently nudge your hand back, reminding you that cuddle time isn't over until he says so!
Tom's playful nature shines through as he enjoys daily antics and games, always eager to bring a smile to your face. He gets along well with other cats, embodying a peaceful harmony that stems from his easy-going disposition. Despite being FIV+, Tom can live harmoniously with fellow felines, provided that proper introductions are made and the transition is handled with care. However, he would also be perfectly content as your one and only, as long as you're prepared to shower him with the daily attention he craves.
Must be kept as an indoor cat, Tom's ideal environment includes plenty of cosy nooks or platforms for lounging. He can have outdoor time as long as it's within a secure outdoor catio where he can safely bask in the sun's warmth. A happy medium that satisfies his need for exploration without compromising his well-being or other cats well-being.
If you’re ready to welcome a big gentle soul into your life, Tom is waiting to shower you with love, purrs, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
Medical notes
Tom boy is an FIV+ cat, this does not mean that he isn't healthy just that if he ever does become sick, it may take his immune system a little longer to get over it.
Please check out our FIV+ poster in his images for more information on FIV+ and living in a multi-cat household.
He has had a flare in stomatitis but this has been treated with antibiotics and he has now recovered from it.
Adoption details
We ask that adopters select the cat that they are interested in and fill out our adoption application via our google form: https://forms.gle/g3BabW3nT8BiPwmT7
We also ask that you send us a copy of your drivers license or valid photo ID and a video "house tour" to our email.
Once an application has been successful, meet and greets can be arranged. Though we do organise adoption days in which you're more than welcome to attend also as these act as our primary meet and greet opportunities.
