Nymeria is a stunning two-year-old German Shepherd with a beautiful nature and an enormous heart. She forms incredibly strong bonds with her people and absolutely thrives on being part of the family. Whether she’s joining you on an adventure, relaxing at home, or simply following you from room to room, Nymeria is happiest when she’s with the people she loves.

This clever girl already has an impressive list of manners and commands under her belt. She knows sit, drop, stay, shake, and “go to bed,” and she’s even learnt how to let you know when she needs to head outside. She loves learning and would thrive with a family who enjoys continuing her training and providing her with mental enrichment.

Nymeria absolutely loves her daily walks and enjoys exploring the world around her. Like many German Shepherds, she’s an active working breed who will need regular exercise, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to use her clever brain. After a fun day, though, she’s more than happy to curl up nearby for a nap—often choosing the spot right at your feet.

She is affectionate, loyal, and adores attention, especially a good scratch behind the ears. Her devotion to her people means she doesn’t enjoy being left alone for extended periods and can become vocal if separated. Because of this, Nymeria would be best suited to a home where someone is around for much of the day or where her family can gradually build up her confidence being alone.

Nymeria has been wonderful with people and has shown positive signs around children. She is also slowly learning to coexist with a cat through careful introductions. However, she is not suitable for a home with other dogs and will need to be the only dog in the household where she can soak up all of the love and attention herself.

Nymeria is looking for a committed family who understands the needs of her breed and is ready to give her the time, companionship, and ongoing enrichment she deserves. In return, she’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless love, and a best friend for life.
