Meet Puggy – a truly special 6-year-old Kelpie with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to let anything slow him down. 🐾❤️

Puggy came into the pound already microchipped, but sadly no one came forward to claim him. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains one of the happiest, sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet.

This handsome boy is fully vetted and ready to head straight from the pound into his forever home through our Foster to Adopt program.

Puggy was born with a congenital deformity affecting his front paws, which causes him to hop as he gets around—earning him the adorable nickname of our little kangaroo. 🦘

The most important thing to know is that he is not currently in any pain and doesn’t let his condition hold him back. He loves to run, play, chase a ball and explore, especially if he has a secure backyard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy himself.

His joyful outlook on life is truly inspiring. Puggy doesn’t see himself as different, and neither should his future family. He simply wants someone to throw his ball, share cuddles, and love him for the incredible dog he is.

We can provide his x-rays and full medical history to his successful adopter, ensuring they have a complete understanding of his condition and any future considerations.

⚠️ Please note: Puggy is currently in a Victorian pound and can be adopted directly from the pound. Because of this, we unfortunately cannot guarantee holds, so if you’re interested, please apply as soon as possible.
