About Kira
Meet Kira — an Inuit word meaning “Dark Haired.” 🖤🐾
Born at 8:27pm on 2/4/26, Kira was the second puppy welcomed into the world. Small from the very beginning and wrapped in her beautiful dark coat, she wasted no time stealing hearts. 🥹💚
Kira’s mum, the beautiful Meesha, came into rescue and found safety in a loving forever home — unknowingly carrying a very special surprise. Before long, it became clear Meesha wasn’t alone, and just a few short weeks later, nine gorgeous Husky mix puppies entered the world. ✨
Raised with love, warmth, safety and endless dedication, Kira and her siblings have been given the very best start in life, nurtured by an incredible mum and surrounded by caring hands every step of the way.
Now it’s Kira’s turn to find a family of her own. 🏡💕
Unlike some of her more adventurous siblings, Kira is a thoughtful little girl who prefers to take things at her own pace. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and likes to sit back and assess the situation before deciding whether you’re worthy of her attention. 😌💚
Once she feels safe and comfortable, however, her cheeky puppy personality begins to shine. You’ll discover a playful, affectionate little soul with plenty of love to give.
Kira enjoys pats and cuddles, but she’s also an independent young lady who likes affection on her own terms. She enjoys being picked up and carried around when she’s in the mood, and she’s not afraid to let you know when she’s had enough. When she’s ready for attention, she’ll happily seek you out for cuddles and companionship. 🥰
Kira has met young children and, while they were gentle and respectful, she generally preferred to keep her distance. Because of this, we feel she would thrive in a quieter household where she can continue building her confidence without too much hustle and bustle around her.
Kira is a little more cautious than some of her siblings and will benefit from a home that can offer stability, routine and patience while she settles in. She isn’t the type of puppy who charges headfirst into every new situation — she likes to take a moment to observe, process and decide things are safe first. 💚
Given the time, guidance and reassurance she needs, Kira is already showing all the signs of blossoming into a wonderfully loyal and devoted companion. A predictable home environment where she feels secure and supported will help her confidence continue to grow.
As a young puppy, Kira is still at the perfect age to learn, grow and adapt. With positive experiences, gentle guidance, ongoing socialisation and lots of love, she has every opportunity to blossom into a confident, well-rounded companion. 🌸🐾
