Meet big beautiful Tortellini (aka Rusty) — a handsome nearly 4-year-old Mastiff currently waiting in a pound and hoping someone sees past the kennel walls and gives him the fresh start he deserves. 🐾💙

This lovable chunky boy found himself in the pound as an owner surrender through no fault of his own, and now he’s waiting for a foster-to-adopt home where he can swap kennel life for comfort, love, and a soft bed to call his own. 🥺💔

Tortellini is a big boy at 42kg with an even bigger love for food! He does need some weight loss, but the good news is he’s highly food motivated, which will make training and healthy lifestyle changes much easier. He already knows how to sit like a gentleman and takes treats beautifully and very gently. 🍖✨

He has previously lived with another dog and during his dog assessment greeted the decoy dog appropriately, though he seemed much happier staying close to his handler than engaging in play. He appears to be a more laid-back boy who enjoys companionship over chaos. 💙
