About Olive

A total social butterfly who LOVES to be the centre of attention, Olive has loads of star quality - but she's super sweet too! Her habit of running to the door to welcome her foster carer home of an evening never fails to make their day :)
Olive's an active and imaginative girl who adores batting her toys around, leaping high to catch that pesky snake on a stick, and playing endless games of chase with her brother Pickle. She's also a purring machine (revving up the motor every chance she gets) and a champion cuddler. She doesn’t understand personal space at all, and makes an excellent scarf - which is actually quite handy at this time of year, not to mention incredibly cute!
A 'people person' first and foremost, Olive's never happier than when she's being your partner in crime, whether you're watching TV, working at your desk or having a lazy Sunday in bed. She's a beautiful girl with lots of heart, energy and love to go around!
We're hoping for Olive to be adopted with her brother Pickle (profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1195340) who she's very close to, but if that's not on the cards we think she'd do best in a home with at least one other friendly cat to bond with.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Olive is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be full of cuddles, affection and toys. Oh, and treats too, obviously. I go crazy for them!
And in a purrfect world, I'd be adopted with my brother Pickle!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a rollercoaster of kitten chaos - snoozing peacefully one minute, then bursting into the zoomies wanting to play with any toy in sight! I love to jump all over the place, catch my toys in the air and chase my ball endlessly from room to room. But eventually I switch things up again, tracking you down and cuddling on your lap or shoulder as I take another trip to dreamland...
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Being so sociable and outgoing, I reckon family life would suit me down to the ground! Kind and gentle kids who'll run around playing games with me sound like loads of fun :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great for cats! I especially adore my brother Pickle and would be SO thrilled to go with him to my furrever home - but I should to do well with any resident cats too.
Though I haven't met any dogs at this stage, I'm open to it!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
