We’ve met Perito ourselves, and he truly is a special boy — gentle, affectionate, loyal and eager to be part of a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them.
Healthy, desexed, microchipped and house-trained, Perito walks beautifully on lead and loves adventures, fetch, tummy rubs and couch time with his people.

Hoof & Hound Adoption Process:
Initial Enquiry – Prospective adopters submit an application via our website or email, providing information about their household, lifestyle, and experience with pets.
Screening & Interview – We review applications and conduct a phone or in-person interview to ensure a suitable match for the animal’s needs.
Home Check – For dogs and larger animals, a home visit is conducted to ensure the environment is safe, secure, and suitable.
Meet & Greet – The adopter meets the animal at our shelter/foster home to assess compatibility.
Adoption Agreement – Successful adopters sign an adoption contract outlining care requirements and follow-up support.
Follow-Up & Support – We provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition and successful long-term placement.
