Meet Owl Butterfly — affectionately known as Butter 🧈💛

At just 18 months old, Butter is a big-hearted Bull Mastiff mix with an even bigger personality. Full of energy, love, and enthusiasm for life, he’s looking for an active home that can keep both his body and brain busy.

Butter thrives with daily walks, enrichment, and stimulation. He’s a clever boy who loves having things to do — whether that’s playing with toys, working on training, or enjoying a peanut butter-filled Kong. When his exercise needs are met, he transforms into the sweetest cuddle buddy who just wants to be close to his people.

He’s also recently discovered his voice… and he has plenty to say! Butter has become quite the chatty boy over the last week, making everyone laugh with his vocal little conversations and expressive personality.

Butter’s story could have ended very differently. He was rescued from a rural pound where he was sadly facing euthanasia, and since then he’s been learning what safety, love, and consistency feel like. He’s freshly desexed, walks beautifully on lead, and has recently learned how to sit — showing just how smart and eager to learn he is. He picks things up quickly and will thrive with continued guidance and structure.
