About Sonny
Introducing our truly itty bitty, Sonny!
Sonny is a truly stunning example of the breed, with beautiful nature, even with complete strangers - he possesses all the correct attributes and softness that sincerely is what this breed is and sadly not what they are often known for.
Sonny is incredibly tiny weighing in at only 2kgs, he is a quieter type of little gentleman and loves his people. He has been very well cared for throughout his entire life and sadly is only looking for a new family due to the sad passing of his Dad.
Sonny has previously lived with a cat and another dog (Peanut). However, during our testing, Sonny has shown that he is quite insecure with other dogs outside of Peanut - at this stage, Sonny is not suited to living with other dogs. Additionally, whilst previously living with a cat, he can be a little unsure of new cats, however, given Sonny's sheer tiny size, he could easily adapt to living with a cat provided that cat has the ability to get up high during the transition period, as Sonny is far too small to present a safety risk.
Sonny walks beautifully on lead, travels great in the car, has regularly seen a vet and had professional grooming. He is well handled and exposed to new people and environments; he handles them well with no signs whatsoever of aggression.
Sonny is not suited to being an outside dog, purely due to his sheer small size. He needs and deserves a family that will love him and allow him to be an active member of the family, as he has known his whole life.
Sonny can be adopted by himself or with his companion 'Peanut'.
