Meet Pepper… our sweet, squishy, ever-growing 6-month-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as his paws 🐾💙

This gorgeous boy is the definition of a gentle goofball. Known lovingly as Slinky, Goofy, and our little Bucket of Beans, Pepper is starting to blossom into a beautiful, affectionate companion who just wants to be close to his people. He thrives on connection, cuddles, and being part of the family — your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your loyal little sidekick.

Pepper would do best in a home where someone is around often, as he truly loves company. He would also benefit from having another dog of a similar size to play with and learn from.

Like any young pup, Pepper is still learning the ropes. He’s eager to please, quick to pick things up, and already mastering the basics like sit and wait. With continued guidance, structure, and lots of love, he’s going to grow into an incredible dog.

He enjoys his walks and exploring the world through his nose, but is just as happy curling up beside you afterwards for a nap (preferably as close as physically possible 🥹).

Pepper is currently living with two dogs and two cats. He is learning to respect the cats’ boundaries and has responded really well to their guidance, though this will need gentle reinforcement in his new home.
