About Billy
Billy is a desexed male Domestic Shorthair available for adoption in Wyndham Vale (Melbourne, VIC).
Billy is the kind of cat who fills a room. He is bold, affectionate and endlessly entertaining — the sort of cat who will introduce himself to anyone who walks through the door and have them won over within minutes.
He loves people, he loves food, he loves a good play session, and he is enthusiastic and expressive about all of it — he brings a lot of life to a home.
If you've been looking for a cat with genuine personality and a lot of love to give, Billy is hard to go past.
A little about Billy:
🐾 Outgoing, friendly and loves absolutely everyone
🐾 Playful, active and full of cheeky energy
🐾 Affectionate — a loud purrer who loves to rub and lick
🐾 Suits a wide range of households, including families with children
🐾 Best suited to an indoor home with feline company
Billy's days are straightforward and joyful. He plays hard, sleeps deeply, and fits as much mischief into the in-between as possible. He is wonderfully clumsy and throws himself into everything with great enthusiasm — life with Billy is rarely dull.
His favourite things include food, a good string or stick toy, and licking people's hands with the kind of enthusiasm that suggests he has never once been told it's a lot. It is a lot. It is also very endearing.
Billy shows affection loudly and physically. He'll purr like a motor, rub himself against you, and settle in for a cuddle on his own terms. During play he has a sweet habit of nibbling people's nails — gentle, harmless and very Billy.
With new people, Billy doesn't hesitate. He is genuinely and immediately friendly — no warm-up period required.
Billy has grown up alongside other cats and would do best with feline company in his new home. If you're open to giving two cats a home, Oro would love to come along — he and Billy share a lovely bond.
Billy suits a wide range of households — active homes, families with children, young guardians, elderly guardians. He is adaptable, easy-going and uncomplicated in the best possible way.
Imagine a cat thundering down the hallway at full speed, launching himself onto the couch beside you, and settling in with a purr that fills the whole room. That's Billy's daily highlight reel — and it never gets old.
He's ready to bring that energy to your home. All you have to do is say yes.
💛 Billy is part of a little family. His mum, June-bug, and brother Oro are also looking for homes and can be adopted separately or together. You can find their profiles here: June-bug — Oro — If you're open to giving two cats a home, Oro would love to come along — he and Billy share a lovely bond.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
