About Georgie
Meet Georgie š¾ (D260113)
Georgie is a 10 month old Staffy cross with a handsome tan and white coat and a big personality to match. This sweet boy has spent over 150 days in the shelter, and while heās become familiar with the routine, what he really needs now is a dedicated home to help him truly thrive.
Georgie is a very smart, food driven pup who loves to learn and is eager to please. With the right guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement, he has so much potential to grow into an incredible companion. Heās high energy and will need an active owner who can keep both his mind and body engaged.
He gets along well with other dogs, but his play style can be a bit rough. Because of this, heād be best suited to a home with a tolerant, similarly sized dog who can match his energy. Smaller dogs arenāt the right fit for Georgie.
Georgie is still learning his manners and can be quite jumpy, so a home without young children would be best. Heās also not suited to living with cats. We have been advised that he can become destructive when left alone, so heāll need an owner who is home often and committed to providing supervision, consistency, and ongoing training to help him settle.
After spending so much time in the shelter, Georgie will need a patient family who understands that transitioning into a home environment is a big adjustment. With time, guidance, and plenty of positive reinforcement, heās sure to blossom.
If youāre experienced, committed, and ready to help a young dog reach his full potential, Georgie is waiting to meet you.
