About Posie 💐
Meet Posie, a true little queen with a beautifully calm presence. Independent, confident, and effortlessly stylish, this gorgeous girl arrived into care at just two weeks old and has been stealing hearts ever since. Posie lives life on her own terms, she’s always in charge of when it’s cuddle time and how interactions unfold.
Posie adores a good pat and plenty of kisses, but she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground rather than being picked up and carried around. Each morning, as soon as she hears you’re awake, she’ll eagerly come to find you, greeting you with loud purrs and affectionate leg rubs. Give her a big scratch and she’ll happily rev up her impressive purr motor in appreciation.
When it’s playtime, Posie’s personality truly shines. Her favourite toys are springs and crinkle balls, which she proudly parades around the house like treasured prizes. She loves interactive play with her carers.
She loves chasing string toys and playfully pouncing on wiggling fingers. She’s also a big fan of leaping around cat scratchy towers and exploring boxes of every shape and size. Even the TV can’t escape her curiosity, she’ll intently track moving objects on the screen and occasionally attempt to “catch” them!
Whilst Posie has grown up around young children, she would best be suited to a home with children 6yo and above or a child free home. She is a very independent cat who doesn’t rely on humans for entertainment. She gets along well with other cats and has had brief encounters with a dog that respects her space.
As Posie is still young, she will need to join a home with a friendly resident cat or be adopted with her beloved foster sister Zahra. Posie and Zahra love playing, grooming, and curling up together for naps. If you’re thinking about adopting a pair, Posie would be thrilled to go home with Zahra by her side.
This calm and independent girl is wonderfully low maintenance and not motivated by food (your benches and plates are completely safe!) Posie is ready to rule her forever home with quiet confidence, playful charm, and plenty of purrs.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (a 25% admin fee will apply)
