This sweet, gentle ball of cotton candy with the softest soul to match her fluff.

Zahra’s journey began when she was found all alone, soaking wet and crying from a storm drain at just three weeks old. Thanks to around-the-clock care and lots of love, she blossomed into the beautiful, confident little fluff ball she is today.

This darling girl has a naturally calm presence and offers the most gentle interactions. It’s nearly impossible not to bury your face into her cloud-soft fur and shower her with kisses. When Zahra switches into play mode, she’s delightfully focused, batting, chasing, and pouncing on toys as if it’s her full-time job, especially when her carers join in the fun. Once her tiny body tuckers out, she’s more than ready to be scooped up and cuddled right into your neck.

Zahra has the sweetest habit of reaching up to your face with her little paws to give you tiny kisses. She’s also known to suddenly pause mid-play and drift off to sleep right where she is, though fluffy blankets are a favourite spot for a longer, cozier rest.

When sunshine pours through the windows, Zahra can be found frolicking in the warmth, chasing her shadow and never quite figuring out how to catch it. Boxes are another fan favourite, especially ones that double as tiny hideaways and she’ll never say no to a snuggly nap curled up in your bed.

Zahra came into care on her own and was welcomed by her big foster sister, Posie, who she absolutely adores. Zahra looks up to Posie and learns all her “cat business” from her, forming a beautiful bond.

Zahra has grown up around young children who love to calmly interact with her. She would do well in a house with children who offer the same gentle interactions. She has briefly been introduced to a dog who respects her space and was indifferent to the encounter.

As Zahra is flourishing so much with another cat in care, she will need to be adopted into a home with another friendly cat or with her beloved foster sister Posie. As she and Posie are besties, adopting them together would be a truly special gift to both girls.
