Meet Diavola, affectionately known as Goober — a 3-year-old greyhound with a delightfully goofy personality and a heart absolutely bursting with love 🐾

This sweet boy is the perfect mix of laid-back lounge companion and playful backyard buddy. He adores cuddles, belly rubs, and simply being close to his people — the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room just to be near you 💛 But don’t be fooled… when the zoomies hit, Goober is more than happy to stretch those long legs and enjoy a quick run or a cheeky game of fetch.

Goober settles well when left home alone and really thrives on routine, consistency, and that special bond with his humans. He’s recently made the transition from racing life after being surrendered by his trainer in NSW, and he’s been adjusting beautifully to the comforts of home life — soft beds, gentle voices, and all the love he’s been missing.

He would suit a calm, stable home where he can truly relax and be part of the family. Goober is best suited as an only dog or with a relaxed female dog, as he doesn’t get along with male dogs. He is currently untested with cats and young children, so a quieter home or one with older, dog-savvy kids would be ideal.

At the end of the day, Goober isn’t asking for much — just a safe place, a soft spot to land, and someone to love him as much as he’ll love them in return 🐾💙
