Say hello to Gingerbread, lovingly known as Rupert — an 8-month-old Kelpie mix who is energetic, intelligent, and overflowing with affection. He’s ready to find his forever family. 🐾🍪

Gingerbread is the kind of pup who truly thrives on human connection. He craves love, attention, and being part of the action — whether that’s joining you on an adventure or soaking up cuddles at home.

With his Kelpie smarts, Rupert is a quick learner! He already knows commands like sit, has good recall, and after a little initial excitement, he walks quite nicely on the lead.

✨ In foster care, Rupert has been an absolute joy:
• Fully toilet trained
• Dog friendly and loves playing with the older dog in his foster home — chasey games are his favourite!
• Settles beautifully for naps in between play sessions
• Sleeps through the night inside like a champion
• A bedtime biscuit in his bed is his signal that it’s time to snooze 💤
• Untested with cats at this stage

Gingerbread’s ideal forever home would be with an active family who can provide him with plenty of stimulation, enrichment, and ongoing guidance as he continues growing into the best boy he can be.

He would likely love a home with children and a family who will keep up with his playful spirit — and of course, spoil him with kindness and love. 💛
