Royal

Sadly, through absolutely no fault of his own, Royal (aka Eddie) is being surrendered back into our care and urgently needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home. 💔

His current household has shown him so much love and care, but unfortunately the environment is not the right fit for his needs, and he is not coping in apartment living. We now urgently need to find him a more suitable home where he can truly thrive. 🐾

Royal is a 3-year-old blue Greyhound with the softest eyes, the goofiest personality, and the sweetest heart. 👑💙 Bred to race but apparently far too goofy for track life, Royal would much rather dedicate himself full-time to cuddles, naps, and being your oversized shadow.

This beautiful boy absolutely adores people and has such a loving, affectionate nature. He’s clever too — fully toilet trained, knows some basic commands, and has excellent recall. He’s the kind of dog who steals hearts instantly. 🥹

However, Royal does have some extra needs that mean he requires the right home:
⚠️ Severe separation anxiety
⚠️ Can display resource guarding
⚠️ Apartment living is not suitable for him
⚠️ Needs an experienced, patient home committed to helping him succeed

🏡 Royal’s ideal home:
💙 Secure backyard to decompress and enjoy space
💙 Someone home most (ideally all) of the time
💙 Another calm friendly dog may help, but not essential
🚫 No cats
🚫 No young children
✅ Experienced, understanding home preferred

Royal is not a “problem dog” — he is a beautiful boy whose needs simply aren’t being met in his current environment. With the right setup, patience, and support, we truly believe he can thrive. 💚

As we are a foster-based rescue with no shelter facility, we urgently need a foster or foster-to-adopt home lined up for Royal’s return.
