Carter is a lively black-and-white Tuxedo kitten bursting with confidence, curiosity, and charm. He is an active, intelligent boy who thrives on play and would love a home where interactive playtime is part of the daily routine. Carter would also do wonderfully as a second cat or even better adopted with his brother Nelson (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1165711).
Heās the kitten who leads the way ā always the first to try something new. Whether itās climbing to the very top of the cat tower, scaling the dining table to investigate the ābig catsāā food, or launching impressive mid-air jumps for wand toys, Carter is fearless and athletic.
Despite his adventurous spirit, Carter is also very affectionate. He loves pats, sleeps with his human, and seeks out closeness. If he wakes up and finds himself alone, heāll come trotting over with the sweetest little grunting noises timed perfectly to his footsteps ā an irresistible quirk that melts hearts instantly.
Carter would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a smart, playful, and loving companion who brings both energy and affection into the home.

Carter would thrive in a home that enjoys active playtime and appreciates affectionate, people-friendly kittens. He'd love to find a home with his brother NELSON (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1165711). He's confident, social, and adores other cats.
ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! Carter cherishes toys and always get excited to test out any new ones :)
SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Likely very good with calm kids over 8+ years old - he's not fond of too much noise and I hid from the 5 year old when they came to visit.
SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great for cats! We haven't met any dogs at this stage, but we're open to the experience.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
