About Nelson
*In foster care in Drummoyne, Sydney*
Meet Nelson 𧥠The Ginger Firecracker
Nelson is a gorgeous ginger kitten with a gentle, affectionate nature. He may be on the smaller side, but his personality is anything but. Heâs a spirited little adventurer who loves chasing after his brother Carter (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1165714) and the resident cats in the home, turning every room into a mini obstacle course. He is curious, confident, and friendly when meeting calm visitors. Nelson is great with other cats and likely to do well with gentle dogs and calm kids.
He is incredibly people-oriented and forms strong bonds with his humans. Nelson loves cuddles and companionship and prefers to sleep close by â often right next to your pillow â rather than off on his own.
If youâre looking for a sweet, affectionate kitten who enjoys closeness and gentle interaction, Nelson could be the perfect addition to your home.
Like all Maggie's pets Nelson is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

đĄ Ideal Home for the Nelson
Nelson would thrive in a home that enjoys active playtime and appreciates affectionate, people-friendly kittens. He'd love to find a home with his brother CARTER (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1165714). He's confident, social, and adores other cats.
ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! Nelson cherishes toys and always get excited to test out any new ones :)
SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Likely very good with calm kids over 8+ years old - he's not fond of too much noise and I hid from the 5 year old when they came to visit.
SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great for cats! We haven't met any dogs at this stage, but we're open to the experience.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
