About Bob
ππ Available for Adoption β Bob (aka Boz, aka Bobby) ππ
π Breed: Greyhound (retired racer)
π Age: 4 years
Say hello to Bob β tall, handsome, and powered by equal parts zoomies and snoozies. A retired racing Greyhound with a soft heart and a love for his people, Bob is the kind of dog who just wants to be near you, soaking up the good vibes and living his very best lounge-life dreams.
Bob is friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully people-oriented. Heβll happily settle himself close by indoors, keeping an eye on his humans while perfecting the art of relaxation. Couch? Yes. Soft bed? Absolutely. Your personal space? Negotiable.
When playtime rolls around, Bob lights up β¨
He loves his toys and can get a bit excited (joyful, goofy excitement!) so heβs still learning some of his basic manners like stay and wait. Heβs a smart boy though, and with positive-reinforcement training and a little patience, heβll shine.
πΎ Bob at a glance:
β’ π Affectionate, gentle, and people-loving
β’ π§Έ Enjoys toys and playtime
β’ πΆββοΈ Happy with 1β2 walks per day
β’ ποΈ Otherwise a classic Greyhound β relaxed, sleepy, and chill
β’ π§ Still learning obedience cues and eager to keep improving
π¨βπ©βπ§ Kids:
Bob has been great with children, but due to his size and enthusiasm, heβs best suited to a home with teenagers rather than young children.
π Other dogs:
He has done well with dogs of a similar size, but gets very excited around smaller dogs, so a home without small dogs is recommended.
π± Cats:
Untested.
Bob is looking for a calm, loving home where heβs truly part of the family β included in daily life, enjoyed for exactly who he is, and given the time and kindness to keep learning and growing. Heβll reward you with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and the occasional joyful burst of Greyhound silliness.
If youβre dreaming of a dog whoβs elegant, loving, and secretly a professional nap championβ¦
Bob might just be your perfect match. ππ
