About Doctor Dillamond
🎄 190 DAYS WAITING – PLEASE HELP HIM BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS 🎄
✨ 4 years 10 months | German Shepherd Cross | Male
After 190 long days on site, Doctor Dillamond (aka Eddie) is still waiting. Waiting for a person. Waiting for a chance. Waiting for a home — and as Christmas approaches, his hope is growing quieter with each passing day.
Doctor Dillamond is a smart, active boy with a brilliant working mind. He loves training and working for his treats, which makes him an absolute joy for someone who enjoys engagement, enrichment, and building a real partnership with their dog. Give him a task or a challenge and he lights right up.
He thrives when both his mind and body are kept busy, and would suit an active, committed home that enjoys ongoing training and structure.
Doctor Dillamond has shown promising social progress and has enjoyed playdates with other like-minded dogs. He’s still working on calm greetings — he can get excited and vocal — but he’s making steady improvements every day and responds well to guidance.
🐾 Doctor Dillamond at a Glance:
💙 Age: 4 years 10 months
🐶 Breed: German Shepherd Cross
🎓 Training: Highly food-motivated, loves learning and working
🐕 Social: Enjoys selected dog playdates, still refining greetings
🏡 Ideal Home: Active, experienced, training-focused
❤️ Placement: Foster to Adopt Needed
💔 Important & Urgent:
Doctor Dillamond is currently in the pound, and they will not hold him. There is a real chance he could be adopted directly from the pound before a foster or foster-to-adopt home comes forward — which means time is critical.
🎄 All Doctor Dillamond wants for Christmas is a chance.
A warm bed.
A kind human.
A place to belong — even temporarily.
If you can open your home as a foster to adopt, you could change his entire future and give him the Christmas miracle he’s been waiting nearly 200 days for.
Please don’t let him spend another Christmas waiting. 💔🐾💚
