About Peachy Keen
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
With her soft, fluffy tuxedo coat and sweet purrsonality, Peachy Keen is beautiful inside and out!
This sensitive girl hasn't yet made the leap (figuratively or literally) into a pair of human arms, but she's obsessed with pats and cheek scritches, and sleeping right up against her foster mum's feet and legs - so we're hoping snuggles aren't too far away!
Playful and pouncy, Peachy Keen loves a bare-toe target and her treasured feather toys, though she usually lets her brother Lemon Squeezy take the lead. But her confidence is starting to shine through and she's growing braver every day!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Peachy Keen is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm looking for a household on the quieter side, with patient humans who'll give me all the time I need to settle in. Interactive playtime and lots of gentle pats and cheek rubs are the way to my heart!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! Feather toys are my favourite :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I do enjoy playing, older cat-savvy children (10+) who won’t overwhelm me will be my best match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've grown up alongside my brother Lemon Squeezy, so a home with other cats sounds terrific! Maybe you'd even like to adopt us together? Here's his profile: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1159603
At this stage I'm untested with dogs, but they sound a bit scary to me...

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
