About Friar
Introducing Friar, the 5 month pint sized pup!
This little legend loves zoomies as fast as his tiny legs will take him but it’s only short lived as he’s soon fast asleep in his bed or on your lap. 😴😴
Friar never wants to be too far from his humans and is happiest when he’s cuddled up on the couch with you or burrowing under the doona for Sunday morning snuggles.
He loves ‘little’ humans especially because he can reach their faces for lots of puppy kisses.
Don’t let this cute face and fluffy ears fool you though, he definitely shows his reflection who boss when he spots an identical imposter in the mirror. 🪞🐕
He’s not much of a fan of cats and I think the feeling is mutual.
Cats aside, he does love other pups and with gentle introduction even loves big dogs too.
Travelling with Friar would not be a problem as he’s happy to curl up in his bed or on his family’s lap for car trips. 🚗🚙
He would be suited to a family with another small dog looking for a friend. His human would need to be able to spend a lot of time with him as he is a breed that does not do well being left alone for long periods of time.
Friar is a purebred Dachshund that was born with Alopecia and his hair won’t grow back. He also has a mild case of Entropion. This has been operated on prior to adoption. Due to his age there is a chance he may need revision surgery on his eyes as he reaches full size.
If you need a handbag sized dog with a suitcase full of love, and you’ve got that for him in return, then this is the fur baby for you. ❤️❤️❤️
