About Wilbur
Welcome Wilbur, our yellow eyed lab with the widest smile. I’m always happy and can’t wait to meet my furever family. As I have always lived inside with my family, this is how I want to live the rest of my life, and will bark if you leave me outside. My deep bark will keep intruders away but once they are inside, I will love them and lick them.
Since I’m only 1 year of age, I still need a little bit of training. And I do like moving objects in the house, especially shoes. Aren’t shoes for chewing! I enjoy digging in the garden, bringing in rocks and playing with a soft toy. Can I join you in the shower too?
I’m a confident boy who wants to ride in the middle of the front seat, and foster mum has already told me off for chewing two leads in the car, one on me and one on my brother – ooops. I am toilet trained, house trained apart from moveable objects, and enjoy lying on my dog bed – or if you let me, on the couch with you.
As I am used to having a brother with me, and will miss him, I need to be included in the family and go on lots of adventures with you.
I’m a very healthy and slim boy, and even though I love to eat, I love being fit and active so need my pawrents to not overfeed me. I am good at playing with other dogs, but can get over excited at times – I’ve been told I need to mind my manners and pay a bit more attention to my owner.
I’m loving, friendly, want to be with you – so would prefer a family where someone is home a lot and definitely will let me sleep inside at night.
Whilst I’m a strong boy, I’m great with kids 7 years plus, not too sure about cats or other small animals – not tested, but good with other dogs, so long as they are friendly.
