About Sydney
Dear, darling sweet Sydney — what a beautiful, gentle heart this brave girl has. 💫
When Sydney first arrived, she was frightened, thin, and unsure of the world around her. But with love and patience, she’s blossomed into the most affectionate, soulful companion — a big black cuddle bear who’s ready to fill her forever home with warmth and loyalty. 🥹🐾
Sydney is around 7 years old and has a deformed foot, but it doesn’t slow her down or dampen her spirit one bit! She loves short strolls, chasing a ball, and most of all, being by your side. She’s toilet trained, sleeps soundly, and listens beautifully with just a calm, kind voice — no raised tones needed for this gentle girl.
She’s excellent with other dogs, adores calm, older children (8+), and absolutely thrives on affection — ear rubs, belly scratches, butt pats… she’ll take them all! She’s a loyal shadow who loves to be near you, always reminding you that you’re her favourite person in the world. 💞
Sydney does enjoy her quiet moments, too. She’s a “no-stress” dog who’s content with love, company, and a comfy bed. Her foster carer says she’s the kind of dog who’ll melt into you during cuddles and look at you with eyes that say, thank you for loving me.
