🌸 Personality & Temperament
Despite a very tough start to life, Ivy has stayed positive and loving. She truly is the complete package — a sweet, affectionate young cat who melts hearts and brings genuine joy into a home! She's low maintenance, can keep herself occupied with toys, sleep on your desk while working from home or enjoy playtime with you and a friend. Despite what she has gone through before being rescued, she is a confident, loving girl with a sweet personality! She bonds quickly and is friendly and welcoming with visitors and stranger alike, curious to be involved in whatever’s going on and offering head butts when comfortable.
She gets along very well with other cats and is often the first to say hello! She is also very capable of entertaining herself, though loves play time of you give it to her. She has had exposure to dogs and was friendly. Ivy loves her toys and even plays fetch, happily chasing and returning balls or amusing herself independently. She also likes to keep watch over her home, keeping a curious eye by sitting watch on a window, attacking insects and bravely pouncing when needed!
Ivy is an affectionate companion who happily seeks out affection, tummy rubs, and cosy cuddle sessions on the sofa or in bed. Once she feels safe and settled, she enjoys being picked up and will purr contentedly in your arms. She is an indoor-only kitty who is trained to not go outside, she would be perfectly comfortable in apartment living or any house where she can make herself at home. She also knows her name and responds with a cute chirp.
Ivy can often be found watching the world go by from a sunny spot or window ledge. Her current favourite toy is a little pink ball and mouse that she proudly carries around the house like a treasured prize — it’s incredibly cute to watch. She’s curious, playful and very food-motivated, making her a joy to engage and bond with. She would add light and joy to a home, turn anyone into a lover of cats.
Ivy would thrive in almost any loving household and would enjoy having a feline friend if one is already in the home. She is a total love bug who will reward her forever family with affection, entertainment and endless companionship.
Ivy is a beauty inside and out!

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
