Red is a 7-year-old cattle dog cross, weighing around 25kg, with soulful eyes and handsome good looks that will have you falling head over heels in no time. If you’ve been dreaming of a pup to snuggle up with, Red is waiting for you. 🐾

❤️ Personality
Red is the definition of a loyal companion. He thrives on pats and cuddles, and if you forget he’s there, he’ll give you a gentle nudge with his nose as a sweet reminder.

He loves a quiet environment and is wonderfully calm indoors — doorbells don’t phase him, and he’ll politely wait to see who’s visiting (likely hoping for more pats!). Once relaxed, his playful side shines through: rolling with his soft toys, chasing a ball, or throwing in a few zoomies before settling by your feet for a snooze.

Red is crate trained and fully house trained, with the adorable habit of giving you his paw when he needs to go outside. While he’d love nothing more than to snuggle beside you 24/7 — even on your bed — he’s equally happy to curl up peacefully in his own.

❤️ Exercise
This boy loves his morning and evening walks, especially when there are plenty of smells to sniff along the way. He walks beautifully on lead and enjoys taking his time to read the “neighbourhood news.” Red prefers a calm walk without doggy encounters — he’s not a fan of other dogs and would much rather enjoy his strolls with just his human by his side.

Red is food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training easy and enjoyable. He already knows sit, lay, stay, and wait to cross the road, and with his clever mind, he’s ready to learn more.

❤️ Red’s Dream Family
Red is looking for a home where he can be the only pet and soak up all the love and attention. He can be left alone for 4–5 hours, but his true happiness lies in being with his people as much as possible.

He loves humans big and small, though his enthusiasm and size may be a little much for very young children. He’d thrive in an adult household or with dog-savvy kids who can give him gentle direction and respect his need for downtime.
