Stevie

This is Stevie, rescued from the streets of Preston with his brother Atticus and their mum Lizzie in 2024. Life was tough for the little family and humans weren’t always kind. Stevie went through fear and instability, with kids throwing rocks at him and his family just for trying to survive and find food.

That's where Heart & Soul stepped in. Since coming into care, Stevie has grown into a healthy, peaceful young cat. Like his brother Atticus, he’s still reserved and cautious around people, but there’s a quiet, thoughtful calmness to Stevie that suggests he’s taking it all in and learning that life can be calm and safe.

Stevie is ready to take the next step on his journey and be adopted to a quiet, adults-only home where he’ll have the time and space to gain confidence without pressure. He is not aggressive, just shy and will thrive in a home with another friendly cat to help show him the ropes. He loves the company of his cat friends and relaxes when they are around.

Stevie currently shares his foster home with his brother, his mum, and five other cats. Stevie is gentle, respectful, and easy to live with, showing no signs of dominance or conflict, just quiet observation and curiosity. With so many cats around, he hasn’t quite discovered how good cuddles can be yet, but he’s starting to feel more at ease with loving human presence.

For the right home, Stevie will be a greatly rewarding companion. When he finds the right person who understands the beauty of slow progress and who enjoys building trust day by day, Stevie will come out of his shell in his own time.
