About Ellie
Meet Ellie, a gentle and affectionate 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel with a heart as warm as her rich chocolate coat.
She was born on 19 June 2015 and currently weighs 15.3 kgs.
Ellie holds the unique distinction of being the first chocolate Cocker Spaniel imported to Australia.
Having spent her early years as a breeding dog, Ellie has long since retired to a life of leisure, where she continues to bring warmth and joy to those around her.
A typical Cocker, Ellie is a soft-hearted companion dog, content to be by your side. Her fondness for people extends across all ages. She’s fine with well-mannered children and is happy to share her home with other dogs.
Ellie currently lives with her daughter Carla, who is also available for adoption https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1140366 and is pictured with her mum in this profile. Ideally, Ellie and Carla would be rehomed together for a slightly discounted joint adoption fee.
Ellie is untested with cats.
This sweet dog would love a gentle and loving home with plenty of human company, as she’s not used to being left on her own for extended periods. She’s house-trained and accustomed to indoor life.
Ellie would make an ideal companion for anyone seeking a sweet and devoted canine friend.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
