About Minke
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
Minke is a sweet and demure little lady who adores kisses, pats and games! She'll often while away an entire day in quiet contemplation in her room, or birdwatching from a windowsill - preferably in stealth mode. She once went 'missing' for an hour in her foster home, when she was tucked away chattering at the birds from behind a curtain the whole time!
Lovely Minke also enjoys new challenges, whether it be seeking out treats or solving the puzzle of a new toy. She likes to play favourite with her toys, and will remind you by bringing them out at playtime!
Like all Maggie's pets, Minke is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be calm and quiet, and allow me to enjoy my purrsonal space while still getting some pats and playtime with my special humans along the way :) I can sometimes take a moment to warm up, but I usually get along easily with new people.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm pretty relaxed, really! I'm not overly adventurous and I love my routines, especially mealtime and playtime. I enjoy attention in my own space too.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm a gentle girl, but I haven't been in a home with children before and rambunctious new people can make me slightly nervous. I'll give a warning hiss to set boundaries occasionally, but never lash out physically.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my sister Orca - though I can be a little competitive around meal time! I think life as your one-and-only pet, or as one of several cats would be fine. I'm not sure about dogs, as I've never met one, so they're a bit of a mystery bag. We could always give it a try?

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
