About Orca
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
Confident, cheeky and bold, Orca is on a quest for full-time love! She's not shy about showing her feelings - begging you shamelessly for pats and treats - and she also enjoys being in charge, strutting around like the tiny boss she is :)
A gorgeous goofball, she also adores playtime and games, her tongue poking out as she concentrates on catching her toy or the flying wand. With Orca in your life, expect plenty of purrs, headbutts and biscuits, as she's just as fond of snuggling up on your lap for precious bonding time!
Like all Maggie's pets, Orca is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a cat who loves company, but I'm not clingy - I just like to keep you in my sights most of the time. I'm very open to new people and I make friends easily! For some reason humans seem to gravitate to me, especially when my tongue is sticking out, which seems weird but I'll never turn down a new pal.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I cherish my work/life balance, and typically enjoy a mix of playtime with my favourite toys and relaxation time on the couch or in the sun. I crave attention and pats, and always want to be the star of your Teams calls!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any kids yet, I have a gentle nature even when I'm feeling excited and playful.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along really well with my sister Minke - we spend our days chasing, snoozing and causing chaos together - so I'd love the chance to live with another nice cat or two! Maybe even Minke, if you're open to taking us home as a pair? Here's her profile: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1134829
However, I'm pretty adaptable, so I think I'd be just as happy as a solo cat.
I'm not sure about dogs, as I've never met one, so they're a bit of a mystery bag. We could always give it a try?

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
