About Nars
Meet Nars - The Lovable, Lanky Lad Looking for a Home
Introducing Nars (formerly Charlie), a beautiful, affectionate 5–6 month old Greyhound/Whippet mix with a heart full of resilience and charm. He’s been in foster care for over six weeks and is currently thriving in his second foster home after a tough start, having been bitten by a large dog. But don’t let that scare you—Nars has bounced back beautifully, with no lingering fear or behavioural issues. In fact, he still loves romping around with dogs of all sizes.
Nars is an energetic young boy who’s ready to steal your heart and make himself right at home—on your couch, in your bed, and at the centre of your world. He would flourish in an active household that includes him in social outings and adventures. A canine companion would help him continue learning important social cues, and while he’s comfortable being alone for short periods, he’s happiest when surrounded by love and playmates.
He’s neutered, recently received his C5 vaccination, and is slowly catching up on his socialisation journey. Puppy school would be a fantastic way to build his confidence and help him blossom further. He’s mostly toilet trained, with the occasional puppy mishap, so easy access to the outdoors would be helpful. Nars is already showing off basic commands, walks nicely on leash, and is fully crate trained—he sleeps peacefully through the night like a little angel. His food motivation makes him a dream to train and a joy to teach.
Nars isn’t suitable for a home with cats—his playful instincts turn furry felines into chaseable toys. He’s met young children and is gentle, but he’s still a bouncy, enthusiastic pup, so supervision is essential around little ones.
Nars is ready to find his person. He has so much love to give and is looking for someone who will welcome his spirited heart and tender soul. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will grow with you, adventure with you, and keep life endlessly entertaining, Nars might just be the one.
