About Duqqa
Meet Duqqa – Your Big Slice of Heaven! 🐾
Say hello to Duqqa (aka Doug), our big, goofy, cuddly Neapolitan Mastiff cross who’s as charming as he is massive. At just 2 years old, Duqqa is still finding his feet in the world — and while he’s full of love, he’s also a sensitive soul who needs time, patience, and understanding to truly shine.
Duqqa can be timid and takes a while to warm up to new people and environments. When anxious, he may growl or snap, so he’ll need an experienced owner who can read his cues, offer calm leadership, and help him build confidence at his own pace. He’s not suited to a busy household or first-time dog owners — but for someone who understands guardian breeds and is willing to go slow, Duqqa will be the most loyal companion you could ask for.
Once he trusts you, Duqqa is a total goofball deluxe — belly rubs, couch cuddles, and romping around like an overgrown puppy are his love languages. He’s a stud muffin with a soft heart and a whole lot of wrinkles, and he’ll have you laughing one minute and melting into his snuggles the next.
Duqqa gets along well with other dogs — but only the ladies! He’s not a fan of male dogs or cats, and would do best in a home where he can be the king of his castle with a calm, confident handler by his side.
Duqqa’s Ideal Home:
✅ Experienced with large, protective breeds
✅ Calm environment with limited visitors
✅ Fenced yard for playtime
✅ No cats or small animals
✅ Female dog companions only
✅ Confident, loving handler who can offer structure, patience, and affection
Duqqa is a little slice of heaven wrapped in a whole lot of dog. If you’ve got room in your home — and your heart — for this majestic, mushy-faced guardian, come meet your new best friend.
Duqqa is ready to love big, guard well, and snuggle hard. Could you be his forever?
