Meet Katerina – The Queen of Cuddles & Conversation

Katerina is a 3-year-old Staffy x Boxer mix whose love language is kisses, snuggles, and enthusiastic chats. This bouncy lovebug is a professional bed-hog, and if you’re looking for a bedtime buddy to keep your toes warm and your heart full, she’s your girl.

She’s incredible with children of all ages, though dog-savvy kids are best suited to her enthusiastic nature. Katerina may get a bit excited and play nip in her moments of joy, but she’s always gentle when taking treats and shows no signs of food guarding around her humans. Around other dogs, she might need a little guidance in that department, but she’s friendly and sociable with those she knows.

Toilet trained via a doggy door, Katerina is well-versed in basic commands like sit, shake, and drop, and she’s currently living harmoniously with a resident dog in her foster home. She’s strong on the lead and still learning her walking manners, so continued training and patience will go a long way.

Katerina does best when introductions with men are calm and confident—she can be a little wary at first, but she quickly warms up when shown there’s nothing to fear. She’s also a bit skittish with loud or sudden noises, so a calm, reassuring environment will help her flourish.

And yes… this girl loves to talk. Say “no” or deny her a bite of your snack, and she’ll give you a sassy little speech about your poor decision-making. Her diva streak is all part of her charm.
