He’s a big boy with a puppy-like spirit. Whether he’s snoozing in the sun, curling up in his crate or chewing on his favourite ball (robust toys only, please—his jaws are no joke), he brings joy to every moment. He adores children and is very affectionate, though he doesn’t always realise his size, so supervision around little ones is a must.

Smart and curious, this clever lad has even figured out how to open some doors—so keep an eye out! He sleeps soundly through the night and is well-adjusted to being left at home for short periods, especially after a solid walk or play session.

On the lead, he walks beautifully when there are no distractions, but he’s still learning to manage his excitement around other dogs. He’s also just learned to sit and is working on other tricks as we speak. With some consistency and patience, he’ll thrive—he’s eager to please and learns quickly.

Wasabi even attended a local football match on his second day in foster care. There he met kids with special needs who ran to him and dogs. He took it all in his stride.
