Hey there, future bestie! 🐾
My name is Poseidon and I’m a playful, adventurous 14-week-old male Staghound X puppy with massive paws (check out my cute white socks!), the softest ears you’ve ever felt, and those wispy staghound long hairs that pop up in the most random spots. I’ve even got a unique little twist — white whiskers on one side of my face and black on the other, giving me total Cruella de Vil vibes (but way more lovable, promise!).

I’m full of energy and curiosity — always up for exploring the backyard, sniffing out new things, and finding the most exciting (and sometimes cheeky!) ways to entertain myself. I absolutely love cuddles, pats, and being close to my humans. In fact, I’d be happiest as the centre of attention in my forever home.

One of my favourite things? Sitting up high on chairs like a little king, surveying my kingdom 👑 (aka the lounge room or backyard).

I do get along well with other dogs — I’ve been living in foster care with my brother and a big Bull Arab X foster sister, and we’ve had loads of fun together. But if I’m being honest, I’d really love a home where I can soak up all the love for myself.

I’m also fantastic with kids — I’ve been sharing my foster home with a one-year-old baby and I’ve been such a gentle, affectionate boy around her.

I’m eager to please and pretty switched on, so with a bit of consistency and effort, I’ll be a dream to train. I already know how to sit, and I’m almost fully toilet trained. I’m still working on not jumping up when I get excited — it’s just so hard to contain myself when I love you so much!

I’d love to find an active home where I can keep learning, go on fun adventures, and snuggle in close for naps and movie nights. If you’re looking for a sidekick with a big heart, big paws, and an even bigger personality — I might just be your guy.
