About Cinnamon
Meet Cinnamon – Your Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold
German Shorthaired Pointer | 7 Years Old | Male
Looking for a loyal companion who’s always ready for the next adventure? Cinnamon is an affectionate, playful, and active boy who loves nothing more than being outdoors, running, exploring, and then curling up close to his humans for some well-earned cuddles.
✨ About Cinnamon:
• Affectionate & Playful – A big softie at heart who loves staying close to his people.
• Outdoor Enthusiast – Thrives with daily exercise, adventures, and plenty of play.
• Dog Friendly – Gets along well with dogs his size and adores a good play session, though he’ll need some guidance with boundaries.
• Learner – Already knows Sit, Touch, Wait, and is eager to please. Ongoing training will help polish his leash manners and channel his excitable energy.
🛠️ Routine & Care Needs:
• Sleep – Settles down around 8:30 pm. He can startle if woken suddenly, so gently call his name or whistle to wake him.
• Toilet – Needs three opportunities per day to go outside; otherwise, he may have accidents indoors.
• Feeding – Best fed separately from other dogs as he can resource guard.
• Alone Time – Once trust is built, Cinnamon can be left alone with gradual desensitisation and positive reinforcement.
• Exercise – A strong boy who pulls on the lead, so he’ll benefit from ongoing training, as well as an active home to keep him happy.
👪 Compatibility:
• Kids – Best in a home with no children or kids 12+ due to his strength and bouncy, excitable behaviour.
• Dogs – Great with dogs his size, playful and social.
• Cats/Small Pets – Not suitable, as he has a high prey drive.
🌟 His Ideal Home:
Cinnamon will thrive in an active home with a yard or access to grass, and a family who loves outdoor activities. He’s the perfect match for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or beach trips — always ready for the next adventure and eager to be by your side.
💚 Cinnamon is more than just a dog — he’s a best friend waiting to join your journey. Could he be the one for you?
